This product felt very sturdy out of the box. The lock up when extended is very tight and the retention when folded is tight enough to not just open but to be easily opened when you need to. My overall impression is very high

I’m sure it workes well but…

I wanted to install a folding stock adapter to my AR pistol and settled on this one. Once I received it I could not install it because nowhere in OpticsPlanet website does it say that a second part is needed in order for this adapter to work. It makes no sense to sell only one have of an adapter. SMH, so beware.

Used this on a custom chassis stock.

This folding stock adapter allowed me to put a Magpul precision stock on a custom chassis rifle I am building. It locks up solid and gives a fantastic cheek weld. Being able to repeatedly put my cheek in the same spot is important and difficult with a folding stock. This product makes it easy and very repeatable.

Ace folding stock mechanism

I use the ace folding stock mechanism for my ak pistols & I Love this product works perfect on my ak pistol with the ab3 brace. Highly recommend optic planet is awesome as well with there great prices and fast shipping.
