Mine split - DoubleStar AK-RHG AK Railed Handguard Set

I have a palmetto ak and when tightened down the piston catches in the gas tube and refused to go into battery. In order to avoid this I had to loosen the main connection bolts so it could fully close. When firing it became loose because of this. You have some set screws on top that you I used to create a bit of standoff so the main handguard bolts could be tightened better. When tightening it all down with normal amounts of pressure it ended up fracturing the aluminum. It looks great and feels great but if you still want it I'd suggest getting some sort of shim that fits between the upper and lower handguard. Otherwise kind of useless with a real firearm
