Great Product!
Great quality and fit. I was able to fit onto my MAK 90 without the need of any grinding or cutting, it fit perfectly. This handguard is sturdy and the finish is great. I highly recommend this product.

Great look, great finish, Poor Fit
was too large for the upper gas tube when I twisted it in. Bent it out of shape. and the lower piece was way to narrow for the upper piece to nest in, so the screws would not line up or reach. Had to install without washers after wedging and clamping things for a few days to reshape the aluminum ...

Awesome handguard
Looks great, easy to Install, great for lights, verticle grips. Paired this with UTG rail covers for that temple of doom look.

Mine split
I have a palmetto ak and when tightened down the piston catches in the gas tube and refused to go into battery. In order to avoid this I had to loosen the main connection bolts so it could fully close. When firing it became loose because of this. You have some set screws on top that you I used to create a bit of standoff so the main handguard bolts could be tightened better. When tightening it all down with normal amounts of pressure it ended up fracturing the aluminum. It looks great and feels great but if you still want it I'd suggest getting some sort of shim that fits between the upper and lower handguard. Otherwise kind of useless with a real firearm

it's good, but too malleable
i accidentally screwed the front bolts too tight and it caused the bolt carrier to get stuck. obviously, then i loosened the bolts so the gun could actually function, but it was too late, it left a compression in the frame of the upper handguard, and now i can't screw in the front bolts securely without causing the bolt carrier to jam. i guess this isn't surprising given it's made of aluminum, but i wasn't expecting it to be that malleable. it still seems to be secure enough with the back bolts alone, and i'm using a VFG too, which is putting more stress on them, but it's holding up fine.
overall i'd say this is a good handguard set, but i'm only giving it 3 stars because the material is cheap.

Originally wanted zenitco parts but we all know how that turned out. Did a little research and found this rail system. Good price and awesome quality. Made for those who want to take that boring slippery wooden handguard and add a rail system for tac light, foregrip, or ir/laser pointer.
