Most Helpful Positive Review Does what it says
This allowed me to meet NY compliance by allowing me to add an AR spur to my MAK90. Fit is flush to the receiver and trigger guard, doesn’t add bulk. Very light so it’s not noticeable. Provided screw threaded right in to block.

Convenient but there are better options

by Match, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on November 3, 2024
I wanted to use a B5 Systems p-22 (not realizing B5 just made a grip for the AK) and after torquing the grip screw to 35iLB's it still wanted to rotate between the adapter and rear of the trigger gaurd. For the price, Its convenient if you have spare AR(Flat-top) grips lying around and if your in a pinch for whatever reason, but other than that there are better AK grip options made now.

Looks like metal from pictures

by JCox87, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on January 25, 2024
It is not metal though, feels like a cheap plastic, very limited in the choices of AR grip styles as well, if your grip has a dovetail don’t even think about it unless you’re fine with cutting that dovetail off, it’s decent
Pros:
  • seems durable
Cons:
  • Bulky
  • eyesore
Best Used for:
  • Range Time

It’s polymer

by JCox87, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on January 19, 2024
If you like your ar grips on your ak it’ll work but I would suggest eventually getting the upgraded metal version from a different company, it works but time will only tell how long this plastic piece will hold up, it doesn’t look very good on the AK either, pretty gaudy
Pros:
  • it works
Cons:
  • Plastic construction, durability
Best Used for:
  • Range Time
