Solid, light, and ugly. What more could you want?
I bought this stock for a lightweight build, and I am very pleased. As you can tell from the photos, it's essentially a rifle-length tube with a butt pad. The foam tube and sling mounts are nice, but what I really bought this for is the low weight. The thing comes in at only 17.4 ounces with the included buffer and spring, and only 10.05 without. And, it's tough as can be. I wouldn't hesitate to pry open a door with the tube or the butt plate (yes, it's metal too!)

Nice product
Installation was very simple and straightforward. By using air pressure (as per instructions) the foam tube slipped on without effort to within 1 inch of completion. Then just simply slid forward to finish. Took less than 2 minutes. Well constructed and light weight. Much preferable to the A2 stock.

Awesome stock
Great stock, comfortable butt pad. Couldn’t ask for a better ugly stock. I’ve pumped a few hundred rounds with this thing and I have to say, it’s held up. Good quality foam as well. Hook a sling to it and viola, you’re pulling all the ladies.

Best AR-15 Rifle Stock
Very simple and lightweight rifle length stock. Comes with a rifle length buffer and spring. The butt plate is solid and the cushioned cheek pad is a dream to shoot. This is the only rifle length stock I use on builds anymore.

Badass and light weight
I love it and works great for tall and larger sized people. I did not use the buffer or spring so idk the quality of it . But the buffer tube and stock are a must have excellent product I used it for a 9mm carbine build love love love it

Second time's a charm!
When I received this initially, there was an issue with the buttplate not clamping down on the buffer tube. I called Star15 and setup for an RMA. The buttplate was replaced and the new one clamps down just fine. It's significantly lighter than an A2 stock and the LOP slightly less. Two critiques: first, the sling swivel is fine but I would have preferred a directional QD socket instead or at least a second screw to skip that option entirely. Second, it'd be a benefit for many customers if the stock was mostly assembled, with the foam and clamp lock already on the tube and the screws threaded and ready to go.
