Doublestar stock
Doublestar stocks are the best made in my opinion! Use Windex inside the foam tube for installation, no problem. I have 3 different Doublestar stocks. They are by far the best built, heavy-duty ones on the market.

Quality fixed stock
I used a little dish soap to lube the sleeve, worked well. Everything went together quick and easy. Only thing I would have liked is a better attachment for the sleeve to the frame. The long bolt that holds the sleeve to the frame cannot cinch down to hard or it will blow through the pad.

How to install foam buffer pad
How to install foam buffer pad. Old mechanics trick, spray the buffer pad and the tube with silicone spray. Assemble it quickly, as it evaporates fast. Good luck! The stock is solid, and very well-made. I’m very happy with it.

Best lightweight A2 stock available!
This stock is the lightest of the minimalist designs yet retains the strength of a brick sh#$%house! I have this model on a varmit set-up in 204Ruger and my medium bore hunter, an AR-10 in 358 Winchester. If you are of larger stature I suggest getting the 1" butpad to increase the length of pull unless shooting from the bench. The foam pad is more comfortable than I expected and provides a solid cheek weld. I really like the multiple QD sling attachment points too! My only complaint is I have to yet find it in FDE or OD Green......

Shooting comfort
I purchased the double star arfx stock for an 6.5 match/ hunting rifle. The objective was to build the lightest precision hunting rifle my budget would allow. As soon as I attached the stock I New I had a winner. I’ve shot a lot of different ar platforms with $300-$400 stocks for precision shooting. This arfx is by far the most comfortable platform to shoot from. It’s is also extremely light and absorbs recoil better than all I’ve used. If your building a light weight precision/ or hunting ar platform you will NOT regret this stock and you will enjoy shooting so much more. I would definitely recommend this stock.

fantastic stock
The cheekweld I get with this stock is phenomenal. The foam is very comfortable and non-slip. Construction is robust, yet the stock is pretty lightweight. It can definitely take more of a beating than any adjustable stock. Good for a hard-use SHTF / throw-around beater gun. Installation of the foam onto the receiver extension (i.e. buffer tube) can be accomplished with either an air compressor or an air duster can. Look up videos.

doublestar ARFX stock
purchased this stock for a 5.56 AR was very pleased with this purchase Optics planet.com had the lowest price and the stock came complete with buffer tube, buffer and spring. This is a high quality stock and comfortable and it looks pretty cool on my AR. I would highly recommend this stock for anyone looking for a fixed rifle stock.
