I bought this kit for my M16 registered lower receiver. Not knowing the history of the lower I thought I would just be safe and replace all the lower parts. Great kit for Rebuild job
Greetings, While i have little real use for a pray and spray configuration My cousin who's more like my brother has an old M16 sitting in the Gun vault. He's retired Army bout 5 yrs ago, a Lifer 25+.and he told me the backstory on it and that a spring(s) was broke and rusted out (guess it was in water ). He's still got his FFL 3 so him rebuilding isn't a problem but more than that perhaps a surprise as he's all about revive and restore old things before replacing. Being a Master Chief he had to think on the fly down range work with what he had and McIver if things weren't moving fast enough.. Anyhow he's still got the mindset, and so I'm giving him this for his B-day last week of the month, so he can fix that rifle and put it back in the vault I'm sure. I'll leave it to him to decide .Thanks for that moment coming up man, This kit is worth every dime.

Darn good LPK
So hard to find a proper A2 grip now a days but here it is. Rest of the LPK is quality from the looks and feel only installed grip. Wouldn’t want to break any laws

One out of five's safety were cut incorrectly.
Ordered five of them, one of the five safety selector was incorrectly cut. E-mailed them and have yet to get a response on replacement. Wish their QC was better.

Good Milspec kit
High quality m16 parts kit. Not sure why another review said otherwise. Hard to find these days. Parts are well made and are packaged nicely. Optics planet shipping was about 1.5 weeks which isn’t bad. Would highly recommend this product!

My lower parts kit
Purchased as memorabilia going to hang it up in my grandparents man cave he was in Vietnam. He’s going to love it appreciate it optics planet for this beautiful opportunity to create a wonderful memories with my family. We will sit around the fire and talk about this for many many years ahead.
