Recoil reducer spring 92 fs
This spring system works very well. Reciol has never been an issue with this gun i installed to reduce wear on the slide. Which i could tell a difference right away. Con is harder to pull slide back and lock.
Smoother, more controllable shooting. Softens wear. What's not to like?
Upgrading to the DPM Recoil System has been a great experience for my Girsan Regard MC X.
I have only shot 185-grain Seismic subsonic 9mm, but it gave smoother slide operation and less felt recoil than the factory guide rod and spring. The system has double the force at the end of the slide's travel, which acts as a buffer, preventing the slide from slamming into the frame. It compliments a Wilson Combat Shok-Buff well. Combined, excellent preventative upgrades to protect components from wear.
Installation couldn't be any more simple and straightforward. Mine needed no fitting.
The assembly happily accepts oil or grease and holds it well.
The materials used are robust, it's very well engineered. Interested to see just how durable this is compared to SpringCo's competitor.
If it gets tired after a few thousand rounds, extra springs and components are available.
I look forward to seeing how much this can take! I might even have it DLC coated for extra smoothness.
