Most Helpful Positive Review Glock should use these
I shoot competitive with a Glock model 35 I have tried many different springs. This set up works far better than anything I’ve ever tried, At first I could only tell a little bit that it was helping with the sights raising, but after you start to speed up especially double taps it will make a big d...

Most Helpful Negative Review Fell for the marketing!.
I like the recoil feel of my Glock 29 than on my Glock 20. I figured that it was because the G29 has dual recoil springs. This seem like a good solution. The failure to eject and failure to feed issues I had made this unusable.

Works as intended

by hyper33, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 6, 2025
Works as intended. This replaces the cheap plastic guide rod and spring with a metal dual recoil spring. Since it is metal it also increases the overall weight which is beneficial.

Stock spring is better.

by Steven Griffiths, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 1, 2025
I achieved a 75.23% failure rate out of 650 rounds of fiocchi ammunition (115g). I experienced numerous types of failures that i never had before on a Stock G17.3. Once i replaced it with the oem spring i had no issues in 200 rounds.
Pros:
  • good in theory
Cons:
  • feed failures
  • failure to eject
Best Used for:
  • nothing

Glock 22 Gen 3

by Gernel Domingo, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 29, 2024
First time using DPM recoil spring. I haven’t gone to the range just yet. But I can definitely feel the difference with using dummy rounds and dry firing.

Noticeable improvement

by Luke, from FL, United States Written on November 21, 2024
Made a major difference in muzzle rise. I wanted to atleast replace the polymer guide pin with something metal but the spring setup really improved follow up shots

recoil reduction system

by peckpeck, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 12, 2024
Installed on my Glock 19, have the same kit on my 17, shirts the same I wouldn’t say it really reduces recoil I feel like it just makes it a bit softer, almost squishy like, but have noticed on video that barrel flip has reduced so worth the money??? I think so

Recoil System

by Rick Johnson, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 14, 2024
Helps reduce recoil and has multiple springs to adjust to your liking, and racking the slide is reduced. I install this in all my smaller pistols it mostly helps on repeat shots, you can stay on target.

what is the point?

by shoot and scoot, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 10, 2024
I bought this a long time ago on accident.

Now that I have a new g19 I installed it.

Have not shot it yet.

It is incredibly difficult to rack the slide. Several times more difficult than a stock recoil assembly.

This might be nice with some aftermarket springs... But the two springs it came with are very stiff. Maybe 20+ lbs.

I'm not sure if this system is worth it.

Simplest and best upgrade

by Cito L., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 13, 2023
This recoil system does a better job at mitigating felt recoil than they advertise. Who knew using a dual recoil spring would have such a dramatic impact? This system preforms significantly better than a stainless steel or tungsten guide rod.
