I have a SP2022 with about 2500 rounds through it that started having issues closing the slide fully. I was going to just get a heavier spring and guide rod but then I did a little research and found these. More springs, more better, right?. I was put off by the price of importing one but then I saw OpticsPlanet had it so I gave myself a birthday present. My first impression was that is was junk snake oil , but it’s only because I’m used to how my wrist needed to work harder to absorb recoil. After a few magazines I started to relax and made some very nice groupings. I’m not going to put them in every gun I own, but it makes this one a real treat to shoot. While it’s a little harder to rack the slide all the way back, I didn’t have a feed issue since I’ve put it in. Time will tell, I’ll report back after I put some nasty handloads through it. I used the lighter of the two springs that were the same length roughly as my stock one.
