This is absolutely not necessary, however if you’re running a comp or suppressor it does help with follow up shots pretty noticeably. The return to center is just ever so slightly faster with my red dot but it adds up quickly.
Pros:
- quick return and softer recoil
Cons:
- Expensive

- compensator or suppressor
