This is absolutely not necessary, however if you’re running a comp or suppressor it does help with follow up shots pretty noticeably. The return to center is just ever so slightly faster with my red dot but it adds up quickly.

A lot sturdier and more solid than I initially thought it would be. It doesn’t flop around at all when open and takes a good bit of force to actually get open. Super well made.
The biggest con I see is the use of a plug in the bcg to bridge the gap to the buffer, it makes it impossible to use aftermarket buffer systems that require the rod to go in the center of the BCG which is most, but a normal buffer works great.
