I've been looking around for a quality bag that I can keep in the truck with essential survival items should I find myself off the road or otherwise in a bad situation. Sort of a "Go Bag." Most have been too big, too small, funky pockets, falling apart, etc. This bag hit the nail on the head for me with size, quality, and design. One huge main pocket with several smaller pockets on the sides and top. Water Bottle pockets. Extremely durable while not being too heavy. I really like this bag.

Very well made and thought out pack one of the best I have tried. Used if for 31 days on a recent trip to Alaska.
Pros: Well made, easy access
Cons: Too big for traveling, except on airlines. Pack doesn’t fit in any bus overhead storage areas that we encountered. Also very difficult to store on the floor between your legs on a bus. Needs waterproof bottom area to keep water out when having to keep it sitting on the floor with melting snow all around it.
Well built but trade off is empty weight. Really gets heavy once you put what you need for the day of hiking in it. Ended up using an Osprey Daylight Plus for many of the day hikes.
Should come with a rain cover adding $50 to this pack for that is too much
Should have a Key fob clip in the top Admin area really can not imagine why it doesn’t have one.
Fit, I am a big guy 6’1” 250# fiddled around with all the adjustments. Really never got it to fit right. Work still in progress.
I really really want to make this work but after 31 consecutive days of using in all sorts of travel/EDC situations. I will most likely try to sell it and try something else.
For most people tossing it in the backseat etc, or even as a laptop bag it should out perform your expectations.

The Eberlestock Switchblade is a compact and versatile EDC/tactical pack. Its low-profile design doesn't scream "tactical," yet it offers excellent organization with numerous pockets, including a quick-access magnetic opening. The main compartment is surprisingly spacious for its size. The ambidextrous design and adjustable harness make it comfortable for various body types. The build quality is typical Eberlestock – tough and durable, using high-quality materials like 500D nylon. While the price point is higher than some competitors, the Switchblade's blend of discreet carry, rapid access, and Eberlestock's renowned durability make it a worthwhile investment for those needing a reliable, adaptable everyday pack. It excels for concealed carry, range days, or urban exploration.

I wanted something a “little” more discreet than just a MOLLE and patch covered backpack…. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The Eb-Stock Switchblade was perfect. Kudos to Optics Planet for having the pack when the Eb-Stock web site was out. And…. It was at a lower price. Tap in by Optics Bucks and promo code and it was an unbeatable bargain.

Great size EDC bag. Purchased in black so as not to draw unwanted attention. Built like a tank…a little heavy, but well built and well laid out. My third Eberlestock bag and the construction is as good as my original bag which is at least 8 years old. This is a great bag if you are looking for a discreet 24-hour bag that can be part of your daily EDC routine
Pros:
- Construction, layout is well thought out, discreet
Cons:
- A bit heavy, but durable construction is well worth the extra few ounces
Best Used for:
- EDC, general daily use, overnight travel

I have absolutely no idea why it took me so long to buy an Eberlestock backpack....should've done it years ago. The storage capacity of this thing is epic, and the multiple compartments can handle a laptop, any cords/connectors you might need, your lunch, and if necessary your side arm (in a hidden compartment) and likely four full-sized mags up to .45 caliber in the two included internal mag pouches. I highly recommend this pack and this brand.
Pros:
- thoughtful design
- Multiple Compartments
- Excellent storage
Best Used for:
- everyday
- field and casual concealment
- Backpacking / Hiking

I bought the backpack to use in NRL Hunter and team sniper matches, I got it just in time to use for a 2 day hunter match. The backpack worked out perfectly, my Sharps Mountain ammo carried fit perfect in the laptop pocket and the pack unzips to the bottom allowing for quick easy access to everything without digging around. I wore it 2 days loaded with ammo, snacks, shooting bags and more...it felt like "home". Ive never used an every day carry pack before but that has changed, this pack will stay close....

Great pack for EDC and travel. Holds my laptop, iPad chargers Bose headphones, small items, and conceals my handgun when needed. It’s sold has great zippers and is comfortable to wear. I wish I had bought it sooner.
Pros:
- Adjustable
