This is my first really nice backpack. I did a lot of internet research before purchasing. Glad I bought it. I took it out on the farm with all my supplies when looking for a government survey pin for the lot lines. I had about 20-25 lbs. of gear packed in it. It seemed heavy at first, but once I got to hiking through the woods I forgot I even had it on. Very comfortable pack and heavy duty too. Love it! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a 2-3 day pack. Excellent product.
Best Used for:
- hunting
- hiking
- camping
- battle

High quality build,Carries loads/camera gear very well, Very comfortable... Highly recommended!! but could use an/some internal zippered pocket, but still is a very solid pack. I would buy a second if I could justify it.

Eberlestock, makes great products, and the halftrack is no exception,. Strong and well made, the materials used are first rate. That being said, I found the pack too small for my needs. the pack would be good for one maybe two nights out, if you moved the sleeping bag to the outside. they have a " little brother" pack if they made a "big brother" about nine or ten inches deep (inside dimensions) and about three inches wider, it would be a great multi-day pack. It would get five stars plus if it was larger.

I received my Eberlestock HalfTrack back pack and was very happy with it. The quality of the bag, the zippers, straps, molle, is superb. This will become my bug out bag, but it can be used for a variety of activities, such as hiking, military deployment, camping, etc. This bag is of medium size, however, because of the modular design, you can add pouches, or attach the Taylor Tactical removable operator's pack, which is what I am doing. I certainly recommend this pack to anyone........
Pros:
- strong materials
- Superb quality
- Beautiful design and color
- Modular
- Awesome padded support
Best Used for:
- Bug out bag
- hiking
- camping
- Military deployment
