Most Helpful Positive Review MAXIMUM MISSION FLEXIBILITY
As a Viet Vet and a lifelong woodsman, I researched my evacuation kit for over a year. Looked at them all. This is the "It Kit". Unlimited ways to modify and adapt the pack to any kind of mission specific needs. Scale up or scale down this can do it all. Pack straps are excellant for on the body adjustments for load variance. Camo is unreal. Put it out in a Texas field with low growth, walked off 50 and 100 yards and couldn't see it even when I knew where it was. Needs instructions. Website says it has pockets for 7 water bladders. It has so many pockets and hidy holes,I can't be su...

eberlestock skycrane ll

by Acumark66, from OK, United States Written on December 2, 2016
ordered this pack at a closeout price. O.P. was out of stock when I ordered it but they got another in for e & honored the price!! great customer service! The pack is top of the line! Some say that this pack is heavy, but honestly once it is adjusted properly, you don't feel the weight. the modularity of this system in conjunction with its capability to actually carry a load is what I have been searching for.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • none that I have experianced

Best over all -

by Dam, from PA, United States Written on April 27, 2016
I realize that at first glance the price of this pack will stop many from considering it. I gave it further consideration and I am very glad I did! You get THREE packs in one that is a well-designed system that can be used individually or together in any combination for virtually any situation. The price is actually very competitive with any three packs of comparable quality, but other options lack the modular and highly versatile integration of this truly great pack system. There are many good reviews of this pack on line, and I have found them not to exaggerate. High quality construction and materials make a rugged and durable pack. Organization, attachment, strap control, hydration and adjustable / custom fit features are extremely well designed to fit and carry more weight more easily and comfortably. And add-on options like integrated weapons carriers offer more efficient and effective weapons transport and protection (at additional cost). I wish I would have bought this pack system before spending a comparable amount of cash on a number of other packs. Excellent balance between material weight / over all pack weight and durability. I can't imagine anyone regretting the purchase of this pack.
Pros:
  • Rugged, durable, versatile good value
Cons:
  • A lot of cash to lay out all at once
Best Used for:
  • any situation
Would recommend: Yes

Amazing Pack!

by BH, from FL, United States Written on May 22, 2015
This pack is incredibly versatile and comfortable to wear. I prefer to use the super spike duffel rather than the G1 Little Brother as my main cargo area. However, for trips that require scouting or a summit, the G1 can come in handy when you want to leave your main pack behind and travel light. The dry earth is such a great color, you won't be disappointed with it.

High-Quality Pack

by Eric Korotki, from SC, United States Written on July 20, 2014
Eberlestock makes some of the best military-grade packs (on the same level if not better than Tactical Tailor). This pack can hold more than an Alice pack with the addition of the spike camp duffel. Great pack that can hold hundreds of pounds. The only downside is that the pack is made in Vietnam. I guess if this high-quality pack were to be made in the United States it would cost a few hundred dollars more.

Top notch

by Legacy Reviewer, from TN, United States Written on February 5, 2014
It is an awesome pack. I just wish they had included more in the instructions illustrating all the different compartments etc.

The build quality is awesome and even better Eberlestock is out of Idaho. It is like three packs in one.
Pros: Versitile
Cons: Needs a better guide on the setup
