good but could be great
Overall great product and very comfortable. Looking forward to wearing it for a bear hunt this November.
My design recommendations would be the following:
1) add another loop on the should straps to better maintain long antennas on radios. I will resolve this with a rubber band or velcro strap.
2) make the wings a tad longer so a holster can be clipped to the side. This will allow the pistol to point down in a safe direction instead of sideways towards your hunting buddy.
Cheaper than Eberlestocks Black friday deals!!
Eberlestock is running a black Friday sale that they are touting as their largest discount yet! (Nov 2025) this may be true... but they still get you on shipping. NOT AT OPTICS PLANET!! i ended up getting the exact harness i wanted, at the sale price, with no shipping fees. product arrived quickly and as described. the harness itself it well made. the Small carries my Vortex 12x50 Crossfire HDs without issue. i feel no pressure points on the shoulder strap and the case has the ability to be worn super high up on your chest, which is where i prefer to have it. other harness force the pack down toward your belly button which just ends up in my way and pinching my shoulders. i like the harness so much, i turned around and bought their new MODFRAME pack too! the only Con i can think of is the price of the side pouches. i got the entire chest rig for around $85 and a simple molle range finder pouch is $35-40 additional ?! tough sell for me on that... i will keep my RF in my pocket or D-looped for that price. other than that! 100% would recommend

Bino Harness
So far it fits great and like how you can access your binoculars with one hand. I plan on adding mods to it and look forward to using it on this year’s hunt.

Best Harness
I wanted something non bulky but with some structure. I also was looking for something with MOLLE attachments on the back. I’ve had other harnesses that had more padding in the shoulders but prefer this slimmer style.

Great gear!
This is a really well made piece of gear. I have looked a lot of binocular chest harnesses and this one by far exceeds the quality and usability of the others. It’s set at a premium price but you aren’t just buying a name. You are buying excellence.

Fits perfect my Vortex Diamond 10x42 binocular
I have read fantastic reviews about the Recon binocular bag, thus purchasing it was more a question what color than IF at all. The pack is exactly as described by others in so many YouTube videos. Fits perfectly and is very functional. I purchased also the general use pocket and the range finder pocket. They fit perfectly on each side of the bag. Plus I want to find a hydration bag for the back panel.

Recon Bino Pack
The best one I've used and I've used them all. It's all about the modularity of this one. Easy to switch up and easy to carry a handgun with. Like the camo pattern a lot too. Easy in and out, great coverage, very comfortable. Could not recommend it more.

Eberlestock Recon dino harness
For those looking for a bino harness the Eberlestock seems quite a bit more durable than other I’ve used. I purchased the small to fit my 10x32’s but there is room if I was to purchase 10-50s. I prefer the flip forward lid of the recon for the ease of removing the binos from the harness without hang up on the binos. Really quick access and the binos feel VERY secure in the harness. The lid is secured with magnets when in the open or closed position. It has a zip pouch built in on the front I like for extra items. There is a built-in retentions system for the binos so they do not fall out of the case when in the open position if you are crawling for a stock or beat feeting up the hill. The outside material is quiet inside and out as well as smooth operating zippers. There is Molle side wings are useful to attached Eberlestock accessories. The Recon has mesh harness for breathability and comfort. It has forward pulled retention straps for ease of securing it to your chest. I like the quality and the modularity of this bino harness; just wish they made them in the USA.
Pros:
- Versitility, customizable
- Smooth lid operation
Cons:
- No Lense cleaner

Recon bono harness
Easy to adjust and love the fact you can keep the flap open for using binos frequently. Also fits my 8x42 binos with plenty of room to spare. You can for sure fit 10x50s which I’m looking to pick up. Best bang for you buck if you’re trying to lighten you’re load for the hunt in with either a gun or bow.
Pros:
- Great fit, ease of adjustment, molle for attachment
Cons:
- None
