Eco Vessel Growler
I love this thing!
I use it every day. I go to work fill it with ice and the ice will be there until the next day. I've tested it out and this is what I know...
I've filled the container with ice Friday afternoon before I would leave from work. Through out Friday night and Saturday I would refill it with cold water at the very least 4 times until Sunday. At most 6 times since it's summer. So when Sunday morning comes around the ice would be gone. That's pretty good for being a canteen.
Also, there's absolutely no condensation whatsoever. So no water rings on the table. I did get a 45 degree carrier bottle suit. There is no handle on the bottle except for the bottle attachment for the cap. Speaking of which there are two sizes for the top. One for easy pour and the other for chugging. Although Eco Vessel does sell a sippy top for $8.00 online. I bought it but I haven't used it yet because there's a removable infuser in the bottle where you can put things like tea bags or lemons, limes and mint in there to have infused water. I use it as an ice dam so my face won't get splashed with ice cold water. The sippy lid has a straw that goes all the way to the bottom. It would be blocked by the infuser. I guess you can pull the basket out but I opt not to.
I liked it so much I bought two more for beer and infusing. (Don't like to mix beverages in bottles.) I go on driving trips and I'm guaranteed a cold beverage where ever I go.

Retired Benchrester
Works as advertised, although it doesn't keep things Ice cold for the claimed 36 hours-Could have something to do with not FILLING it full with ice. A carrying handle would be a plus, since the cap keeper will eventually get broken with being carried by it, due to to weight when full. Cool little plus is the fine strainer for making infusions or tea.
