Got this installed on my RIA 1911 Compact.
Feels like a quality replacement for the original mainspring housing, even though the original one wasn't poor in any way. I just wanted a magwell, which is what this added.
Installation wasn't as "drop-in" as I'd hoped for, but still. It took some fitting because the top of the housing would interfere with the grip safety on my 1911. It was too tall and would jam the grip safety in place, making it inoperable. I took a file to it until it fit properly and the grip safety was able to move in and out freely. That's all it took.
I'm happy with it and yes, I'd buy it again.
