High Quality Spring, Promising First Impressions

Just received and installed the Ed Brown Recoil Spring for my Smith & Wesson M&P. The build quality is excellent, and it feels like a premium part. Installation was a simple and nearly drop-in process. The most immediate difference is the spring weight. It is definitely lighter than the stock spring, which I'm hoping will translate to a smoother recoil impulse.
Pros:
  • Noticeably lighter spring weight than factory
Cons:
  • Performance with live ammo is still to be determined
