Too short for use with common aac tirant suppressor. - Ed Brown Products Suppressor-Ready 1911 Pistol Barrel

The barrel needed way more than “minor fitting” to work in my 1911. Not a big deal as you can always take away material, but it’s a lot harder to add it. The issue is the OAL of the threaded barrel is too short. These barrels do not have the 0.65” clearance from the bushing to the end of the barrel. This causes your Tirant’s piston to come in contact with the bushing during recoil causing a failure to go into battery. Unsupressed the gun works beautiful, however the whole point of purchasing and fitting this barrel was to run a suppressor on my 1911.
