Too long for sig 229

The barrel has excellent fit finish. However it is too long. It is the same size as my sig p226 threaded barrel. Function is great just looks wrong.

Sig p229 conversion

The conversion barrel fit and finish is perfect . It dropped right in no fitting required. The problem.. it is too long there is 1 inch of barrell and thread sticking out past the slide. Looks ridiculous. Should of known there is no length in the description. This could possibly be for cadada market where the barrel are 3/8 longer .
