Fits VOERE rifles perfectly

German Military Mauser 98 long action
this is not for the old German 98K long action sportified Mauser, it is just like the picture as seen, two holes in front are right but rear is way off and doesn't fit the receiver at all don't buy this one like I did.
EGW Mauser 98 Picatinny Rail Scope Mount - Large Ring
Fit perfectly on my JC Penney-branded, Parker Hale, Mauser-based .308 bolt. I was concerned the holes wouldn't line up, but they lined up perfectly. It hold my heavy scope securely. I recommend using some blue loc-tite on the screws to ensure they stay tight.

EGW Picatinny rail M98
The mounting screw holes on the EGW rail I purchased for a Mauser 98 Large ring were no drilled correct to fit my Mauser. I had to drill new rear mounting holes. I'm not aware of different versions of the M98 large ring action but if there are they should have been a selection for them.

6.5-06 build
For years I have be used AWG products . I have them on my Remington 700 ,Ruger #1 varmint and Wetherbee /howa 1500s purchased this one for my new build using a Mauser action 98 for 6.5-06 solid construction well-made I have not had no problems with them

Close fit?
I took the WW2 sporterizede Mauser 98 to the gunsmith to have the Pica-tinny rail mounted. It was a close fit needing a few thousandths shimming to be level. Given the variation in sporterized Mauser actions made from military grade parts, I would say it was as good as could be expected.

i like this mount, but the rear base does not take into account the lip on the rear of a k98 receiver were the stripper clip guide is. a little bit of filing, plus the pre drilled hole goes over the gap were the stripper clip guide is so you can only use 3 of the screws on it.

not a perfect fit
Put this on my integrates in 7mm mag. First this is when you tighten the rear screws the front on the rail is in the air about .050 . Second the rear screws where too long and had to grind them down So the bolt would slide in. Over all very disappointed based on when and other reviews.

Mauser Scope Mount Undrilled.
This is an excellent scope base. Since the receiver had already been drilled for a two piece it made sense to match the holes with an undrilled mount. It is perfect for my application, thank you for an excellent product at a reasonable price. It looks so much better, it added the extra MOA that I needed and because it is a one piece the performance is excellent.

EGW 20 moa Mauser scope base (undrilled)
I previously had another manufacturer's base and need to match the mounting holes so I ordered the undrilled version. I just got done drilling and bedding in the base and everything fit very well. Great value!

I originally ordered the drilled version of this base. I was disappointed when I found that the hole patter didn't match up with my FN Mauser commercial action. Contacted Optics Planet right away and arrangements were made to exchange the item. No hassles. Love great customer service!
