This rail fit the bolt hole pattern on my Remington 742 Woodsmaster perfectly.
O ise this as my truck gun. I attached a red dot site to it.

Direct fit
Ordered this for a remington 700, short action .223 with heavy barrel and tactical stock. Fit perfectly, no modification needed. Needed to swap the traditional scope mount for a tactical rail to mount thermal.
Pros:

- as advertised
Cons:
- Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.

Great value
Look and fit on beaded stainless rem 700 with laminated stock looks fantastic and fastened down to 18 inch pounds perfect. I put on a left hand model with no problem. Even includes one extra screw. I have used 3 ro 4 time more expensive ones. Wanted to try the lighter aluminum on budget and keep weight down. Pleased and very solid. Used on 338 rum

EGW Picatinny Rail Tactical Scope
I purchased this rail for my Remington 700 rifle so I could mount a new scope which needed a special rail my rifle was not equipped with. And Wow perfect fit. Thank you Optics Planet. Everything I have purchased from Optics Planet has been perfect and put to great use. I will only purchase from Optics Planet from now on.

Solid rail on a budget
There is nothing worse than being told by the internet that it's going to take a $200+ rail to shoot accurately and consistently. EGW is proof that you don't need to spend a fortune on an item that - let's face it- just needs to be well built, cleanly finished, and nice to look at. This rail installed easily on my Remington 700 SA. It's long enough that you get plenty of space to mount just about any scope. I like that EGW offers 0 moa versions as well as 20 moa versions. There's even enough space for me to slide on an empty chanper flag indicator with the picatinny cutout. Mine did not require any kind of bedding, though I doubt that many would need it. It feels super solid and I've got zero conplaints.

Great Rail
Received item in 4 days of placing the order.
The rail has a great weight and and fits well.
I did have 2 issues with this rail.
1.) it had a small raised spot on the rear seating area that had to be smoothed out.
2.) this is not a issue with the rail it’s self but I did have to bed the rear of the rail to keep it from torquing when mounting it.

Good sturdy rail no issues
When using I would recommend using loctite comes with screw and wrench to install. Easy installation have it under my vortex diamondback on my Remington 700 with a accuracy international stock.

Took me a long time to decide between all of the rails that are out here. Not trying to spend to much but not trying to get a piece of junk either. This rail was perfect for what I needed. I used the Leupold PW2rings

Egw scope base
Egw scope base looks great and installed well. The only trouble I had was one of the screws stripped at 12 in lb of torque. Was able to remove the screw so no harm...should probably be supplied with screws that are tough enough for the torque spec provided...
