Mounting on a Savage Axis, these ship with screw #6-48, however some Axis' use #8-40 screws, EGW knows this but it's not listed on the Optics Planet website. If you order direct from EGW they state they will give you both size screws, however their vendors may not have the updated packaging and additional screws. I've got an email out to EGW to see if I can get a set of the larger screws, if not, might as well return it and go another route. I'll change my review if it's resolved timely.
Pros:
  • rail seems to fit well unbolted
Cons:
  • wrong size screws in box
Best Used for:
  • Sitting on a work table waiting for company to get back to you.
