Horrendous

I ordered a 20 MOA rail for my savage Model 10 Short Action and the rail that came was in packaging for a 20 MOA rail but it seems to be a regular 0 MOA pic rail and the rail has the scope cocked significantly to the right. The rail was installed correctly and properly torqued to the 20 in/lbs specified on the manufacturer’s packaging. I even let the gun sit for about 4 hours after installing the rail to let the loctite set. I would be less upset about this, but this is the second product I’ve bought by Evolution Gun Works that I’ve either had to extremely modify to get to fit or just have not work all together. So far EGW is 2/2 on nonfunctional products for me and I will never be buying anything from them again. I recommend staying away from EGW.

Fit as it should with barrel clearance.
Mounted on savage 110 hunter.

Works perfectly

The scope mount fits perfectly on my Savage A22 mag. It was easy to install with the holes for the mounting screws lining up perfectly with the holes in the top of the receiver.

egw picatinny

Evolution gun works make high quality picatinny rails and was the only one I could find to fit my A17 rifle.

We've had no issues with the one we got for our Savage MKII. The only issue was I didn't look at the description closely and missed that there were two sizes for the Mark II. I ordered the shorter ejection port model the first time. Optics planet was great about handling the exchange though and I get the correct one. Hind sight though I should have ordered the 20 MOA version but live and learn. If you're considering shooting over 100 yards I'd recommend just getting the 20 MOA version as it won't hurt when shooting under 100 yards but you really want it for longer range. You might not think you'll do it, but you never know.

Savage has two sizes of screws for mounting - Rail only has one

Mounting on a Savage Axis, these ship with screw #6-48, however some Axis' use #8-40 screws, EGW knows this but it's not listed on the Optics Planet website. If you order direct from EGW they state they will give you both size screws, however their vendors may not have the updated packaging and additional screws. I've got an email out to EGW to see if I can get a set of the larger screws, if not, might as well return it and go another route. I'll change my review if it's resolved timely.

rail seems to fit well unbolted

wrong size screws in box

Sitting on a work table waiting for company to get back to you.

Works with my Savage Mark II BV 22lr

I ordered and mounted one of these in Sep 2021 on my new Savage Mark II. I just now realized that I actually ordered one to fit the old Savage 1-3/8" ejection port, but I've been running in on my newer Savage with the 1-5/8" port with zero problems. I'm using a 20MOA and I'm not sure if this messes up the MOA adjustment but doesn't seem to.

The egw picatinny rail for savage mark ii fit perfectly no adjustment needed.i ordered this for my savage mark ii target rifle to give me 20 more moa for extended range. Weather has prohibited me from testing so far,but looking forward to the day.
