Perfect fit for mounting Docter-style red dot on top of ELCAN
This MRD mount fits perfectly on top of an ELCAN Specter DR 1.5x-6x. I opted to torque the screws to 6 in-lb as the ELCAN uses heli-coil inserts for all of its screw holes (which is really well thought out compared to Vortex or Aimpoint).

Screw holes too small
I bought this product with high hopes it will function properly and it doesn't. The screen holes to attach a micro red dot are too small for all the optics I tried. I'm very disappointed. Does the job
I have two of these, one for Vortex and one for an SRO. They are great. They give you fast target acquisition with a more “heads up” style of shooting. though I wouldn’t say, it’s totally necessary, but if you have an extra red dot lying around that you want out on top, you will probably be happy with it
