Most Helpful Negative Review Not as Pictured
The picture shows a black oxide finish on the bullet as well as Eley site but this are brass with lead bullet. Not a match grade ammo more in line with bulk ammo. I used this ammo in my CZ 457 MTR and a magnum research semi-auto 22lr, the groups were not good, the CZ is very accurate at 100 yds and this ammo was not grouping well at all, good for plinking I guess.

Good for Plinking

I picked some of this up just to see if there might be a less expensive option for target shooting with my CZ 457. I have shot all kinds of ammo and the top performance came from to most expensive. Well, there must be a reason because this Eley was less than impressive with my groupings. Great for plinking but not for serious target shooting.

The .22 le ammo had 1-4 day shipping and got delivered in a little over a week. Had ordered some sig 9mm hollows with 5-7 day shipping but have not shipped yet. Been about 2 weeks already. So basically it’s a hit or miss if it’s in stock for you to receive it at the dates they mention. Nonetheless good co. & products!

Great product

I was pleasantly surprised with these 22s. I put a couple hundred rounds through my mp15-22, and there were no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be purchasing more of these rounds for practice shooting and for fun, great product for the money.

Eley Practice .22lr 40gr.

Never heard of Eley, researched and looked reliable. Ordered 7 boxes to take advantage of freight. Went to range today and fired 50 rounds with my Ruger LCP II. Terrible experience. Three misfires, about five fail to eject, and one bent round nose bullet from brass casing trying to chamber. Next 50 rounds with CCI Target and no issues.

Reliable .22 Ammo

No Fail to Fires, no jams, and low fouling! I would recommend for plinking or hunting. Good product from OpticsPlanet, can’t go wrong with this from a Quality brand Aguila. Great round for semi-auto or bolt action.

Good deal for the price

I purchased around 15 boxes of this ammo over the past 2 weeks. This ammo was black all around with a slight wax to it. It had me shooting out of my 10/22 at 25 yards within a quarter size of eachother.
