Best AR drop in trigger on the market
I have about 5 different brands of triggers, all different brands. For the sale OP had on this, there was nothing out there that could beat it for the price, period. Lowered just under 3 lbs, it's consistent and no creep, extremely clean break. If you crank it down too far, it messes with the reset,...

Not as light as advertised
Out of the box the trigger didn't feel all that amazing, so I decided to do some proper testing with a Lyman digital gauge, which I verified on other triggers to be consistent and accurate. The trigger I received broke nowhere near the advertised 2 3/4lbs with the adjustment screw fully backed off....

dead on reset
It was a good trigger til i put about a hundred rounds through it. Now after you pull the trigger the reset lets the hammer forward and you have a dead trigger. The hammer doesn't hit the primer just stops right before on reset. Nice crisp one shot tho

Wow! Amazing trigger!
I installed the Elftmann Tactical ELF AR-10/.308 Flat Trigger on my Sig 716i and it turned an already excellent rifle into an exceptional rifle. The installation was a breeze and the end result is a noticeably lighter trigger pull and basically zero reset. I liked this trigger so much that I purchased the version intended for AR-15 to install on my DDM4. Can't wait to get it!
Pros:
- competitive price
- clean break
- Lower trigger weight
- Flat trigger shape is comfortable
- Almost zero reset
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Range
- Home Defense
- Tactical

Horrible creep. Poor trigger.
Mine showed up and was worse than a cheap milspec trigger. The creep was terrible. The trigger would jump twice then break finally. Sent it back to elftman. Well see if the repaired one is any better. Sure looks pretty.

Trigger fires with safety on
Alright I personally cannot recommend this trigger. Installed it still fires the trigger with the safety on. I have a couple opinions on this and I dontthink its necessarily the trigger. I tried this in a 80% lower milled with a router. While its milled beautifully for a router thats the problem its not cnced and as perfect tolerences as a cnc can achieve. Routing allows for slight larger tolerences even with the best kit. So with how precise this trigfer is made and how unprecise an 80 percent lower is it allows to much play and allows the teigger to fire. Installing the bottom plate helped a little and almost made me think It stopped the trigger from firing but putting a good amount of pressure on the trigger on safe it fired still. It probably took a good 15 - 20 lb squeeze to get it to fire but it did and is unsafe for this 80% lowers in my opinion unless cnced by maybe a ghost gunner and even then Ild have my doubts.
Pros:
- beautiful
- Adjustable
- Crisp trigger squeeze
Cons:
- Not for 80% lowers
- Could fire trigger with safety on
Best Used for:
- Unsure

Great trigger
Good quality trigger. I love the fact that you can adjust the pull weight with a simple turn of an Allen screw. Easy to install. Elftman will be my go to trigger from now on for all my AR platforms. This is the trigger for you.
Pros:
- Easy install. Looks good. Works great.
Cons:
- None

Not good for 308
This trigger has lots of issues that even elfmann admits. Do not buy this for your 308 or 7.62 if you’re planning on firing military rounds. I had constant jamming issues do to light primer strikes and wasted a lot of ammo trying to fix the issue. I should have gone with 2 stage. Took trigger out and it works great in my 223. Not a bad trigger just not meant for thick primer or ar-10 platform.
Pros:
- Great for 223
Cons:
- Will not fire 7.62x51
Best Used for:
- At-15 platform

First purchase to build an accurate rifle, or upgrade an existing gun
These drop in Elftman triggers are the best, fastest upgrade to any rifle. I have them in several of my AR platforms and they all are easy to install, and break like a thin glass rod. This adjustable model is fantastic on an AR 10.
Pros:
- ease of install, build quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- competition shooting, hunting

Excellent Drop in Trigger
I installed this trigger in a AR10 .308 trigger has very crisp break, no take up, easy to install. I would recommend their anti-walk pins to go with the trigger. Overall Excellent trigger for a good price here on OP.
