Bought as alternative to my bull - hide gun belt, which I still like & use too. Elite belt is comparatively lighter weight without sacrificing rigidity or comfortable fit. Webbing appears good quality & has a reinforced center layer, probably thin durable polymer or similar, providing rigidity & resists much twisting. A critical belt feature for side arm carry......or simply holding up heavy pants / loaded down pockets. Aluminum Cobra buckle has quality feel & a solid secure attach / detach action. Buckle release tabs are spring assist & hopefully designed for a long, hard & productive life, like the owner. Allows for variable & incremental width adjustment, unlike conventional leather belt buckle, so bourbon & burgers bring it on! To me that's this belt's best feature. To attach or remove belt completely off pant belt loops, one buckle end must be completely removed from the webbing. Perhaps a small inconvenience but easily done & not too much trouble once you're used to it. Belt webbing end is hot - knife cut to seal edges against fraying & upper corner cut off to eliminate curl - over.....nice detail. All in all, a good multi purpose 'tactical' webbing belt, reasonably well priced & probably worth it for the Cobra buckle alone. We'll all end up with two of them, one in each color, eventually.
