I need another one
The Elite Survival Systems shooters belt is a "must have" item for your gear. I love this belt and will be ordering another one in a different color. Originally I bought this belt mainly for range time to have a secure foundation for my holster, but now I wear it everyday as a work belt also. It ...

good quality but uncomfortable, and hard to unlatch or disconnect at times
Construction is good, made very stiff. Sizing is spot on, problem,s I have with this belt is, the edge of belt that attaches with Velcro. The end of belt is cut at a sharp angle and has Velcro, the angled cut has been heated or melted to prevent fraying. It is kinda sharp, while working and walki...

Perfect if used as intended
The Cobra buckle enhanced CO Shooters belt is perfect if used as intended; CCW. The CO is for the buckle. 1.5” is for everyday pant- belt loops. Yes, I have to undo the male side for putting on a new/ clean pair of pants. Yes, the tip will have to be maintained. Just the tip.
These I call trade-offs as there is no perfect belt for everything.
I’m well over 1/2 a century old with a well rounded experience in belts, clothing and secure buckles. I’m a Up-Rigger in the stage and lighting industry. I’ve also rock climbed and tethered myself to Air frames, lift frames and fast attack jeeps some years back. I’ve also spent a few years diving shoreline commercially (boat cleaning). I know my webbing material.
I agree with most of the positive aspects on previous reviews. I wouldn’t back the negative points listed. Most negative reviews appear to lack experience and stray from the intended use of the product.
Here’s why: I have several Cobra buckle equipped belts and I wear this one (1.5”) the most.
The Cobra buckle is not meant to unlatch under load. It will be difficult to disengage as that is the intended purpose. That said: it is my fastest belt to unbuckle when I have to go potty.
It is not meant for rapid adjustment. I maintain my gut size and never eat-drink so much I have to unbuckle my belt or pants. Please learn some self control before judging a unique yet simple belt/ buckle combination.
I have a 28” waist bare. With jeans and underwear, the small reaches around to ...

Stiff and solid
Firm, thick belt. Rock solid buckle. If that’s what you’re looking for them this works. However, that same thickness can be a problem in standard pants. This is purpose made and not for edc unless you are wearing tactical pants every day.

Solid EDC Belt
Not too thick not too thin. Cobra buckle works like a charm not like those Chinese knockoffs. The buckle also feeds through the loops to my surprise. I bought for conceal carrying. It holds the Trex Arms Side Car very well.
Great EDC Belt.
Great EDC Belt.

Good belt,great price
Like the review says the belt is a good belt, really good, sturdy without being too stiff and works well with a battle belt set up...best part is the cost is half the price of comparable belts from other manufacturers.
Pros:
- Sturdy
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- EDC

very good belt, really great price.
Like the title of the review says, very good belt, really great price...not as sturdy as my Ares gear belts..but not far off though and coupled with the elite survival systems molle padded battle belt it's a great setup for sure, the cobra buckle is a definite plus as well.

great belt
Bang for the buck !! .. all I can say is make sure you get the right size . Had about a year from now and the belt still works fine . No issue in the stitching of the belt .still holds its shape . Sometimes you’ll see these in sale .

Shooters belt! A+++++
Strong buckle. perfect sizing. GLAD I made this purchase. A+++++ Hard to get the buckle through standard jean belt loops, but if you wear tactical pants it shouldn't be an issue. crisp, clean activation on the buckle, easy to release.

Buckle is best and worst feature
The Elite CO Shooters Belt is very sturdy and holds my Beretta 92 no problem. The Cobra buckle stays securely locked. The problem is the buckle does not pass through any of the belt loops on my Carhartts or 5.11s or BDUs. Instead, one has to undo the velcro, remove the buckle, slide nylon belt through belt loops, reattach buckle. Yes, it’s incredibly annoying and a fatal flaw in a roughly $75 belt.
Pros:
- Sturdy, durable, sized accurately
Cons:
- Buckle too big for belt loops
Best Used for:
- concealed carry
Would recommend: No

Very comfortable. Carries weight well.
This belt is very comfortable and carries weight well. The only downside is the buckle is a little tricky to thread through normal jean belt loops. A slightly smaller buckle, if possible, would be a big help.
Pros:
- very comfortable
Cons:
- Buckle a little big
Best Used for:
- Gun Belt
