Good light but missing cap and tape switch and now they are on back ordered

Currently for the same price you can buy the streamlight tlr-rm1 which is pretty much a way better version of this. This light doesn't have a switch on the light itself. But if you tighten the end cap most of the way the cap can be used as a pressure switch as a backup by just pressing on the cap a little. I didn't realize this until I had already installed it on my AR and put it away in my rifle bag for the first time and then later took it out to find out the battery had died before I really got to use it. Also I think it may have got hot and shorted something out because after that the pressure switch never really worked the same. I had to ziptie the wire in a very specific position to get it to work after that. You can buy a replacement end cap with the pressure switch from elzetta but it costs more than half the price of the light itself!!! I think it was like $90!! When I found out about the tlr-rm1 and how you can buy a replacement switch for around $30 I was so mad. Save your money and buy a way better product from streamlight. I wish I did.

The fit and finish is outstanding. And dispite it's small size, it can throw out alot of light. It is very well made and light weight making it a great EDC light as well. I added mine to a rifle for a tactical light and it has served me well!

Save your money, buy something better. Poor design, overpriced. Cons include:
* Tail cap doesn't work
* Light output seems yellow
* Doesn't seem like 415 lumens
* Terrible product description
* Overpriced

This light (ElZetta B313) is compact at about 4 inches long and tough as nails. I was looking for something light to add to my AR pistol, but did not have a lot of extra space on the front rail for a tape switch or a two cell weapon light. This little beast is perfect on my Aim Sports 45 degree offset mount. With the natural thumb-over grip of my support hand (left), I am easily able to activate the ElZetta Alpha. The Alpha provides fantastic light whether inside or out. I also use this light as an EDC and it is easy to carry with the ElZetta Speed Clip, which I purchased at the same time. I would highly recommend both the Alpha and the Speed Clip.

This alpha is the best light for a fighting rifle. Push the button and light is on, take pressure of switch and light is off. No click. Best design for a rifle. If you needed to keep light on u can rotate the tail cap all the way on and then back off a quarter turn or so to off and for use with tail cap switch. Elzettas are top tier lights for design tuffness and reliability. Also the zrx mount is perfect for this light on a rifle with a pic rail, very solid and minimalist.

I purchased this Elzetta Alpha as a gift for a friend who seems to break everything. As to date he has not broken the Alpha. I also own a Alpha and Charlie version in the Elzetta line. I have been very impressed with the Quality and function of both. They have both spent time on my rifle and on my belt and have never let me down.
I Chose the High low tail caps on both so they were not blazing bright for every task. what is really nice is that you can adjust the tail cap just right and it will allow you to choose between momentary low or high with just how you place your thumb.
Overall you will not find a higher quality light that is made 100% in the USA. Great products, Great customer service. I will be a customer for life.
