Battery cap does not fit. Seems too shallow to fit the 2 AA batteries. Doesn’t seem to be a genuine replacement part. Once I put in the batteries, they stuck out half an inch, not allowing compartment to snap closed. I don’t want to force it so I’m sending back

Direct replacement OEM battery chamber.
This was exact fit replacement. I am very pleased with this purchase! It is the original manufacturers part and truly at a great price. It made my expensive Eotech sight like brand new! Be sure to select the correct one by your manufacture date of your Eotech sight. Thanks!

Easy to install
I was worried that my EOTech 512 was damaged beyond repair due to battery corrosion. I ordered this Battery Cap along with a Battery Sight Contact Replacement Kit. Price was very reasonable and shipping was very fast. I had my doubts that it would work, and thought it would be a difficult procedure. The Cap simply pops right in. The Battery Sight Contact Replacement Kit actually took much longer to read the instructions than the actual replacement, which took less than two minutes. I thought....can't be that easy, this won't work. Then I turned on the sight and BINGO, no worries. PLEASE NOTE: There are two washers with the kit, and it might look like you only have one but they are tiny and stick together. Just separate them.

Quick turn around
The item I ordered was on back order but it was quickly replaced and shipped. EO Tech does not make the 552 replacement parts that I could find so it was nice that optics planet was able to get one still.

great OEM replacement
left the old batteries in my sight and they corroded and ruined the battery case. this was a perfect oem replacement. it looks and fits like the original battery case and decent price. shipping wasn't the fastest.

Duty rifle repaired
Went to change my batteries on my EOTech at qualifications and all the insides fell out of the battery compartment. Ordered new battery compartment and tahdah....duty rifle back in service. I recommend this product.

Replacement EOTech battery compartment
Got my EOTech 512 up and running like new again. Batteries got old and corroded the contacts in the old compartment. New design so you don't lose the springs and rubber donuts. My only grumble is that it took 10 days to get something that could've been tossed in a padded envelope and mailed.

Fixed the problem!
Thank you for providing this product as the battery contacts/boots in the old cap had corroded out. Put new batteries in this unit, snapped it in place, and presto we have light. Then I removed the batteries before putting up this time!

EOTech 512 Battery Cap
Not much to say about this part, I needed a new battery cap for my EOTech 512 and Optics Planet had the best price. It fit perfectly and it helped me to realize that my old battery cap was not what was causing my 512 to not work. Back to the drawing board!
