Love the eotech - Eotech 553 Series A65 Holographic Weapon Sight

About a year ago my CSM had me feild test one of these four our Battalion. I fell it love with it the first second out at the zero range where my 5 round shot group fit inside of a dime. It has as a better reticle than the aimpoints that the military uses, which makes for ranging target easy. With this optic unmagnified I was able to hit numerous consecutive 550 meter targets in full value wind with an M4 carbine. Also for me it doesnt create "tunnel vision" like the aimpoint 68's do which is great in a real world environment. The only downside is I purchased the eotech 3x magnifier with flip to side and access to all the buttons is limited unless you flip it to the side to operate then flip back to the up right posisition. Not really a big deal to me but if it is I know eotech offers models with the buttons on the side.
Pros: durable, uses 3 volt batteries
Cons: no side mount buttons for when using a magnifier
