Fit and finish are nice. Reticle is bright and easily adjustable. Glass is serviceable. Haven't had it long enough to judge battery life or long term durability. I feel so operator and stuff...
The SU-231 PEQ in tan is part of the SOPMOD Block II offerings and I bought this to complete the look of my CQBR build. After zeroing in my KAC sights, I simply adjusted the dials on this unit and aligned it with the front sight post. Then I closed my BUIS and ran several magazines through the gun with just the EOTech. Shots landed where I wanted them to. Be sure to keep both eyes wide open and look through the glass to your target down-range. Overall this is a great optic and I actually like it better than the EXPS3-0 that I originally bought. Even though there are definite design improvements over the 553, and the 553 costs more,...and it will eventually be phased out... Besides all that, I love this optic and would prefer it over the EXPS3-0 any day.

Best close combat sight
What can I say the name EO-Tech speaks for itself...This is a very high grade optic that I would recommend to a friend....Some people say that it is not that good because you can not engage at long distance but that is not what it was designed for....If you want to go the distance a good bet would be a Nightforce 8x32x56 zero-stop....It can be removed and a scope installed in just a few seconds with the quick disconnect option that it has.....The best part about it is you can aquire a target with both eyes open giving you the ability to have a clear viewing field and still have a mark on the target....Its a shame that they do have a lifetime warranty!

Eotech 553 A65 sight
I love these optics. I have two others on different guns. Great adjustable bright recticle. Would and will get another for my next gun. I have one long range 500 yds. Rifle that I use one with a magnifier behind it. Very well made.

EOTech once again, DELIVERS on their fame for the finest sights
Being a LONG-TIME buyer and user over many years of many EOTech sights, the EOTech 533 series holographic sight once again PROVES why it is among the world's leading providers of the best sights used by military, law-enforcement, security, and the pickiest, hard-core "shooters" the world-over. The quality of construction, the ease of use, mounting, maintenance, adjustment, never-failing highest-quality construction is why EOTech is ALWAYS my sight of choice. There are certainly "better" sights out there--but for the COST and VALUE of this one, and all of Eotech's offerings, it's just a waste of money (excepting those who are truly "snipers"/"sharpshooters"). For everyday combat, patrol, security, or target-shooting, this is the best "bang" for the buck (pun-intended!)

Tough Sight
Gets the hell beat out of it at work, can't beat it for CQB/room clearance. Can't say much for the IR feature as IR lasers will always trump it. I'd buy one....... What's up O.P.?

EO Tech Weapon Sight
This sight system was installed in seconds and was within Two MOA without any adjustments. It was a little Price' but worth it to me. I like to buy the best and I believe I did this time.

Great sight
I love this sight. Very easy to sight in and mount. Holds zero after bouncing around truck and tractor cab. The sight is so easy to get on target and for multiple shots.

SU-231
Had the Eotech553 since 2010 and shot thousands with it and retained its Zero every time I shot drills with it. Great optic but a bit pricey. NVG mode also works great, reticle is sharp and crisp. Overall great optic

Great Sight
This sight is one of the best AR-15/M4 sights an operator can have. Add a removable magnifier and you are ready for whatever MOUT scenario may arise.

Awesome Holographic Sight!!!!
Overall Great unit, I have not used it with NV yet. The only problem I had is that the monting was too tight, thought I was going to break the clamp handles.I bet it will never come loose:)Other than that, I Love it!!
