My 553 looks brand new!

I replaced my original hood with this item. The fit was perfect and I had the old hood removed and this one installed in under a minute. Excellent instructions from EOTech. Item took a little while to get here, but OP is upfront about that. Well worth the additional few days of wait. Completely recommend this product if your sight has some dings, scratches from use.

EOTech 553 Replacement Hood Kit

I replaced my Black 553 with this FDE hood to better match my Magpul FDE furniture. Its the same hood that comes on the 553 and includes screws to replace the ones removed. You can't go wrong with EOTech and Optics Planet.
