Great for short range!
Great for close range but has no magnification. Magnifyer is big and bulky for the cost of both would rather have something elese.

Good function, strong and durable. Rugged. No complaints. Would highly recommend. Looks very cool.
Battery life is good. I have had it out in the rain so I can confirm it is water proof. The optics are very clear with the red hologram easy to see and co-witness with my sites.
It would be nice if they provided a rubber lens cover to keep dust out when not in use.

Buy with confidence!
This is my second EOTech, my other is the EXPS. I couldn't be happier. Whether I'm shooting a two eyes open rapid fire drill or a one eyed 300 yard bang the gong shot this sight nails it every time. My buddy shot my weapon with this sight and stepped behind the firing line and ordered one from his smart phone. They're that impressive.

Great product
I received my Eotech from optics planet and it was very fast shipping the product came as described and it works great I woul definitely recommend buying from here. The scope coat is a nice feature to have when you don't want a remove your scope from your rifle and still keep safe from scratches .

eotech is awesome
Amazing product.. was hesitant being this was my first eotech but I won't think twice about buying another. Shipping was fast. Eotech is very very durrable. Buttons are easy to operate with a magnifier

If you have no need for night vision, this model might be right up your alley. Decent battery life, uses same batteries as most Surefires lights, etc. Fast target acquisition and plenty durable. Better size that AA models

EO Tech 516!
It's taking a bit to get used to the controls off to the side rather than on the rear like other EO Tech models. But there is no difference in performance or reliability. I now have five EO Tech optics, both for home and for work. I would not trust anything else.

Great product. Easy to put on and take off. I put it on and found it to be zeroed at fifty yards without making any adjustments.

Great Optic
I have had the 516 for about 2 years. I have not had one problem out of it and the original battery is still working. The G33 magnifier would be a great compliment if you have the $ to spend.
