Great crossbow sight!
What's not to like? It's an EOTech!
First, remember the limitations of this crossbow sight. It's not a scope. If you are not pleased with no magnification, and then want to spring for an EOTech magnifier, it may not have been the best choice from the start. Choose a scope if you desire magnification. Certainly that helps, especially with noticing branches between you and your target. I, however, consider this an acceptable risk. I like no magnification! It's a crossbow after all! Vertical bowhunters manage just fine without magnification, as I once did myself, and still do with this sight.

Eotech Xbow
So far so good. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but first impressions are good. If you are unfamiliar with eotech, the sighting system seems blurry at first. That is the nature of their sights. Once you take sight outdoors and use it awhile they seem to clear up. I like that it uses regular AA batteries over proprietary batteries. Construction seems well buil. I will edit this review as I get more experience with the sight. But, so far so good.
Pros:
- Quality
- name brand & reputation
Cons:
- price
- Blurry sight
Best Used for:
- hunting

First Timer with Holosight
Learned that I actually bought the Cadillac of red dot sights, but am still getting used to it. Shooting with both eyes open really seems to increase accuracy. Seems to work better on my Scorpyd Orion (400 FPS ) than the Excalibur Micro 335. Using first dot for shots 12 to 38 yards. POI only varies +- 1 inch. Nice to have range finder for instant reference. Now waiting for the G33 magnifier which should give me the best of both worlds out to 60 or so yards Pricy sight, but crazy accurate!
