Often over looked part
This part is great if you are using a standard GI trigger guard for that old school look. Prevents discomfort of lower receiver ears on your finger if you're using a standard A2 or any Magpul grip since those don't have a "duckbill". Only drawback is this makes it impossible to use the "hinge" function of the GI trigger guard for gloved hands. Very easy to install. Just remove pistol grip, slide forward onto to trigger guard, re-install pistol grip. Makes grip very comfortable.
simple yet effective
If you have a stock pistol grip I see no reason not to have one of these on your rifle. Yes it doesn’t allow the trigger guard to hinge down all the way but it still hinges enough to get a gloved finger into the trigger guard.

AR15 gapper
This AR15 gapper is necessary if your going to use the traditional AR grip and trigger guard. It makes your middle finger feel more comfortable while having your finger on the trigger. It is very easy to install and a great value. The gapper Can be used with other AR15 grips.
