Most Helpful Positive Review stainless shims
these shims are easily bent so be careful handling them so as to not crease them or put a fold in them like i did, but i screwed the barrel nut tight and i don not think it will make a difference if you are able to flatten it out

Barrel nut shims

It took all 4 shims but the hand guard is lined up perfectly was starting to wonder if theses would work would definitely us these again on another build. Price was good and shipping was fast. Might just order these again with my next build.

Ergo Barrel Nut Shims - 4 Pack

This is a "must have" for assembling an upper that uses a traditional USGI barrel nut, where the barrel nut has to be timed correctly for the gas tube to be inserted. This 4-pack came packaged in Ergo packaging, and worked exactly as it should.

If it works, it works.

Bought these and ended up only using one of them but it got the handguard where it needed to be. All in all timing a handguard isn’t that fun so I might just stick with the slip on ones for now on. If I ever do have to time a handguard again, I’ve got spares.
