Comfortable, low profile, and insulative... they'll keep your hands cool when things get hot.
They're a heat resistant polymer thats easy to trim to fit.
Magpul branded ladder covers cost 25% more and are made BY ergo, fyi.

If you're trying to match colors, the "grey" ergo colors are similar to other manufacuturers "wolf" gray, while the ergo "graphite gray" is a dead ringer for "sniper" gray like Magpul.
