Excellent machining, perfect mag phos finish.

Fits lower exactly, no overhang, no sharp edges, and an effective QD if single point is required.

This has become my new go-to for anything but total budget builds.

Griffins A3 grip is pretty good too, check them out for a retro-mod look.

Have had magpul, bcm, etc. This is by far the best machined and best looking. Perfect phosphate coating, matches mil spec castle nut perfectly.

If youve ever had an endplate with sharp edges or that overhangs or doesnt properly seat in the lower, get this. It has become my new personal standard/minimum, unless it's a total budget build.

Finally had to buy my second set in 1/2x28... one of the best MD products out there, and the only I'll use besides JP's double crush washer. Infinitely reuseable, until you lock one in on a barrel. Can be removed and reinstalled with the same MD/barrel countless times. Perfect installment, takes a little more time, but if done right is impossible to screw up. One kit can be used for multiple rifles, and when you run out of the size you need, just buy another kit and combine. If you built lots of rifles, you'll be able to do many with just one or two kits.

I printed out a little 360° diagram and cut a hole in the middle to aid in determining the 10°-30° final tightening/washer. Just follow the instructions and you'll have no issues.

The only negative I could see is the aesthetics, it is a matte stainless washer on a black gun. Would be nice to see sets available in parkerized 4140 steel, if possible, or at least nitride stainless for the cloners out there. Also, woud be nice if a person could buy just one size washer at a time, rather than needing to buy an entirely new kit, but I understand both sides of that argument.

So, if you can add up how many $2-$5 crush washers you've bought and screwed up/replaced, it adds up quick. My first kit allowed me to do a half dozen rifles, including a couple for friends.

Well worth the investment, you won't be disappointed.

Tried the desert tiger on my tanodized rifle, and while it didn't quite match the color scheme I was going for with burnt bronze (reptilia/forward controls) and clear anno recievers, on the right tan build/configuration the desert tiger stripe would be an excellent accent and a highly effective camo pattern in ALL environments, not just desert.

I did like this grip, but ended up going back to my previous grip due to the top of the beavertail not quite sitting tight to my anderson lower. Also, the beavertail is straight, not contoured, so not quite what i was after. Finally, the top of the beavertail is sharp, and this combined with the small gap between the beavertail and the lower, and it can bite the web of your thumb if you get it up there just right.

All that said, ergonomics are excellent, as is grip andgle and placement/rougness of stippling. This is the grip Reptilia is trying to imitate... and they look good too. Would use again if they close up that gap or i want the look. Wish it had a grip plug.

Overall, for my needs on my general purpose AR, this is an excellent stock.

First, the weight: It's NOT heavy. People IMAGINE it is when they read it weighs 24 oz while not taking into account that this weight includes the receiver extension, and then compare it directly to a B5 Bravo or Sopmod, without considering the buffer tube. It's not more than 4 oz heavier than an A2 stock and rifle length extension, or the Magpul rifle stock and extension, if you consider the buffer tube/receiver extension being built in to the UBRg2. It's not significantly heavier overall than a SOPMOD stock on an A5 extension. If you compare weight honestly to other complete systems and not just the UBR system next to a bare stock, you'll find a difference of mere ounces. In the world of barrel-heavy AR carbines, a few ounces in the trunk only helps the weapon. It's the hidden reason why so many prefer fixed stocks in the first place, and that's that they're solid and they feel more balanced on the weapon.

Solid and balanced, with adjustability, that's what the UBR gen 2 brings to the table. I run mine behind a medium contour barrel and one of the lightest handguards on the market, and my gun balances perfectly on the center of the magwell, where I like it. It's over 9 lbs fully loaded, but it doesn't feel it at all. All the weight is at the back between my arms, right in the cradle. With my hybrid comp doing it's job, and my recoil system tuned, an exaggerated/extended C-Clamp grip isn't required

Ive owned several of these in both the T3 and T4 (titanium) versions, and Nemo is doing the design a disservice. For what its worth, they fit and work as well as the 2A versions, but they look like second rate junk in comparison. Uneven nitride, and tool marks galore.

If id got it for any more than id payed, id have returned it. Luckily i got it on sale.

Wasb sad to see 2AA go, was happy to hear theyd been bought rather than just going OOB... then i see Nemo isnt anywhere near the level of fit and finish for the price as 2A Armament. A cut below, for sure.

It will work, and in my opinion/experience these are some of the best designed MDs money can buy... but they should've kept the T4 design (toothless) over the T3, and they sure as heck should have kept the level of fit and finish that their predecessor was known for.

Ill think long and hard before i buy another Nemo arms product.

Buy it if you need an excellent hybrid MD, when they're on sale. Otherwise, not worth it.

These add to an ergonomic rail, they don't cover it. If you want to give yourself something in your mlok slots without adding bulk, this is the only one ive found up to the task. Theyre expensive, and yet ive bought countless sets...
