Awesome for Mossberg 500
I got a wood Mossberg 500a for christmas and looked for hours for one that will fit the shorter tube length. This fits the bill. It is very sturdy and went on like a glove. No lube, just slid on. Remember, if you have a forend tube that is 6.5 inches, but the Short. if its the longer 7 5/8'' buy the Normal.

broken foregrip
I was looking for a grip to fit my small hands and still mount accessaries with the rail cover included this fit the bill perfectly.Fittment was perfect on my older 500. Custom colors for rail covers is really nice.

Works on shorter tubes
If you have a Mossberg with wood furniture, this is what you want. The short size will fit the shorter forend tube, and there aren't many other forends that will. Fit asside, this is a really nice forend, especially if you want to add accessories

A good addition to my shotgun
I installed this forend on my Mossberg 500 Cruiser for the sole purpose of mounting a foregrip. I didn't like the idea of a one-piece composite because you have to adapt to where the foregrip is located. The picatinny allows me to find the sweet spot for my leading arm. One thing to note is after I installed it, the "shimmy" of the slide action was a bit more pronounced. It concerned me a bit and I took the gun to my dealer and he said it works just fine.

Great product. Fits perfect on my new Mossberg 590A1 (just make sure to measure your existing foregrip, I almost ordered the short by mistake). After the installation I put on a Magpul angled foregrip and the combination works great!

Great Product!
This is a great product and Optics Planet has this an an unbeatable price! Searched for days to try and find a better price - save the time and buy it here. Install was difficult because I have a Mesa Tactical Stock that needed to be completely taken apart before even being able to access the forearm. After that it was a breeze. I have a magpul afg, magpul rail covers and a flashlight installed with plenty of room for whatever else you can think of! I would recommend this to anyone with a mossberg 500. - be sure to get the proper length!
