Most Helpful Positive Review Ergo grip Delta
The Delta looks weird and feels strange but- it fills the hand much better than the stock style grips. It doesn't take long to get use to the angle. I can't tell any difference in groups between the Delta and stock grips. The only negative I have is the back of the grip could be a little wider, it comes to a point at the parting line. This is on a J frame lite weight.

Full control

by Ron, from NY, United States Written on October 11, 2023
I now have total control upon draw, no re- adjusting . Factory grip horrible small for me this one fits like a glove . I’m 6’1 and 250lbs . The outline in pocket doesn’t look like a gun as the grip is not typical
Pros:
  • Low profile
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • CCW

Did What Promised

by Gary Dodd, from IN, United States Written on September 27, 2017
My S/W Airweight 642 .38 special, 1.87 inch barrel was a beast to shoot with the OEM grips: I hated it, but it was functional as a pocket carry: light, and small. I was going to buy one of the two popular grips for it, but was afraid of the profile of the handle in my pocket. The Ergo Delta grips only increased the profile only a little in my DeSanti Superfly sticky pocket holster with the extra flap to cover the handle profile.
In shooting, it did exactly what was promised: tamed the "brutality" of the recoil. I was quite satisfied. I might try getting the Ergo Delta grips for a Ruger LCRx .38 special, 3 inch barrel, 5 shot with great grips on it OEM that are a popular other grip that is what I was going to buy for my 642. This would reduce the pocket profile maybe enough to carry as well. I doubt if it would help with recoil b/c the OEM grips are not the standard S/W style.
Pros:
  • Absorbs recoil
Cons:
  • looks unconventional
Best Used for:
  • small revolvers with small OEM grips

Substantially Better

by Dave, from FL, United States Written on February 17, 2016
This grip stops the trigger guard of a S&W 442 from bruising the shooter's middle finger. Very comfortable and steady in your hand for a snubby. The gun still fits perfectly in my De Santis Super Fly pocket holster, too. Great solution, especially at this price.
Pros:
  • comfortable,
  • Inexpensive alternative
Cons:
  • None.

Comfortable grips

by TJ, from UT, United States Written on January 16, 2016
Gotta admit, they look weird but they really do feel good in your hand and also provide for better concealment. When firing the weapon,I like the feel of this grip better than the stock grips and feel I have better control.

ERGO Delta Grip

by Hay you, from TN, United States Written on September 17, 2015
This grip is fine a frog hair split 4 ways and sanded. I shot it better strong handed than with both hands!

I Have A Problem! ERGO does not offer this grip for other firearms-yet. I'm sad..........

As advertised!

by the perfesser, from SC, United States Written on July 30, 2015
Product definitely eliminates trigger guard slap on middle finger. But the hard polymer on grip back makes for soreness -- after 40 rounds or so -- on web of shooting hand between thumb and trigger finger. The key advantage in an SD situation, therefore, is the elimination of flinch factor for the crucial first shots. So, on balance, I am pleased with the product.
