Replacing AR-15 handgaurd on Adam Arms carbine

I bought this to replace the handgaurd on my Adams Arms carbine length AR-15. It dropped right in and doesn’t interfere with the piston. The top rail lines up with the other rails on top and is slimmer in width than the plastic handgaurd it rifle came with.
