Typical esee quality. - Esee Avispa Framelock Black D2 Folding Knife

My first Esee folder that's going into my EDC rotation. Suprising that the coated blade is less expensive than the plain. While not my sharpest blade out of the box, it will shave the hair off your arm. Edge was perfectly ground. Not perfectly centered on closing, but not substantially far off center either. While I don't go crazy with my working knives, I feel I should lay it all out there. Decent size and weight. I can't say it was easy to open one handed,but I could tell after a little synthetic oil (silicone), it should break-in nicely. If you're looking for a quality EDC, an Esee in D2 for under 40 bucks, you will be very pleased with this knife.
