I have yet to get a bad knife from Saturn, and this is no exception. They are every bit as good as their more expensive cousins from Lionsteel. Essentially the same designs, similar steels, same sheaths. My Mimas was razor sharp out of the box. Most knives can cut notebook paper. It seems to be a high flat sabre grind with a perfect secondary bevel. These will shave newspaper or phonebook paper. This is basically a smaller version of the Titano. It has a thick saddle leather sheath. Grip scales are G10 and have a nice grippy textured finish. It's there, but not at all uncomfortable. If you can call it a drawback, entire top of the blade is rounded for comfort in use, but it would make striking a firesteel difficult. The extended rear pommel is squared off, and would seem to be what it could be used for. You would have to remember that its made of sleipner steel, sort of an improved D2, that's corrosion resistant and extremely hard, but not a true stainless. I usually keep both the leather and the blade oiled and have never had any problems. I would not hesitate to take this into the field. It's also small enough for EDC where allowed, although it's leather sheath might be bulky. You really need to get one especially at this price point, and while its on sale. I've noticed it seems that the prices of Spanish and Italian knives keep climbing. You won't regret it

I bought this specifically fot a Gerber Gator drop point. Wonderful knife, but it has no thumb stud or nail nick. It took me less than 5 seconds to mount it and it worked like a dream. Ordered 3 more. I can only say it probably works best on a knife with a smooth action, but it really works.

Firstly, Cudeman makes great knives. I own several. The stuff coming from Spain is first rate. The Bushcraft ENT 158-M is more substantial than what can be shown in the photos. 4.5 to 5mm from the heel to the very tip of the blade. Do to it's heft, I have the feeling that there's no cut outs under the scales. It has a better Scandi grind than some of my knives that were actually made in Scandinavia. It starts about two-thirds down the blade and tapers to zero at the edge, which is shaving sharp. Micarta scales have red liners. My hands are dead in between large and extra large, and I find the grips very comfortable. Sheath is a heavy saddle leather that's very well made. Only drawback is it's only right hand carry. The only fault I can find is that when they drilled the Micarta, it left chipping around the edge where they tried to counter-sink it for the hex bolts. I own several Cudemans, none of the others have this problem, and its on both of my Bushcrafts. Its only a cosmetic issue, it doesn't effect the feel or use of the knife, just FYI.

I own several Spanish made knives. Several Jokers, Cudemans, and Hydras. This was also not disappointing. Perfect hollow grind blade that was shaving sharp. I stropped it for 5 min and now it's truly scary. A very nice leather sheath made of a heavy saddle leather. Most of these Spanish knives are just smaller versions of their full size models blade is at least 4mm thick. I intend to put this in my EDC rotation. This probably will not be my last J&V, although I've noticed prices starting to creep up on all of them. I guess tariffs are getting into everything.

Ruike is a Chinese company owned by Fenix flashlights. Clearly after building a solid reputation, they are not willing to lose it. Something European and American should try to remember. I own several Ruike knives, and have never had a bad one. The 801 is no exception. I have the dark finish version. Blade is shaving sharp and perfectly ground and centered. Action is very smooth with maybe a hint of grittiness, but after using a synthetic oil, it seems to be even slicker. Frame lock provides a secure lock up. The only real critique, which has also been noted by others, is that they placed the thumb stud on the blade too close to the point of rotation. I rarely use this anyway preferring to flick it open. Overall, decent steel and great attention to details. Can't believe this knife is offered at this price point. Even better with OPs discounts.

I don't know why these no longer seem to be carried by OP. My Strongarm came with a perfectly ground fine edge, that's razor sharp. It's full tang extending through the rubber coated handle. The sheath is a multimount system for different methods of carry. Sheath has its own locking retention in addition to nylon snap strap. Gerber was smart using a proven system and then improving upon it. It's easily the most economical magnacut fixed blade out there. I hope OP will be able to carry it in the future.

I'm actually surprised no one has reviewed this knife. It's a 5+ inch long blade of high carbon stainless steel, similar in hardness to AUS-8 and is powder coated. It's a full quarter inch thick and weighs close to a pound. Blade is full tang with a finger choil and has jimping for the thumb on the upper spine and on the underside of the grip. While the jimping is aggressive, I didn't find it painful. My blade has a perfect hollow grind. Sheath is a black cordura nylon with a kydex liner insert and a nylon retainer with a snap. It has an external velcro pouch that contains a diamond sharpening stone and a decent sized ferro rod with striker. My knife came sharp enough to cut notebook paper and shave the hair on my arm. I imagine when I strop it, it will be scary sharp. Is it as refined as some of the Spanish or Italian knives? No, but it also doesn't cost like them either. If I compare it to say, the Selkirk, which would be a close competitor, I'd say this micarta handle is a lot more comfortable in the hand. The only drawbacks I notice are it's weight and I'd have preferred a sabre grind over the hollow grind for its intended use, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it. If you're on a budget and you are looking for decent knife you wouldn't have to worry about, this is it. Overall, a great bargain.

I took a chance with this knife, but I was familiar with other Spanish made knives. This thing was like a work of art. The photos don't do it justice. It's probably comparable to my Canal Street hand made knives that are no longer made. Mirror finished blade. Perfect, uniform flat grind on blade. A thick leather flap sheath with secure snap. Sheath is similar in quality to the one on the Fallkniven F1, that I also purchased from OP. Now I have the problem, do I really want to get it dirty. Everything is excellent quality, easily worth 3x the price. You won't be disappointed. Savings up for my next Cudeman.

Great little compass. Much better than the typical button compass. Seems accurate as I also have an MC-2G (their top of the line), and they both seem to locate the same magnetic north. I've seen them clipped to watch bands, but I didn't want to overtax the plastic clip on my G-shock, as it seemed a little thin. I think a small piece of industrial grade velcro would probably work better if you do wish to attach it to your watch bands. It also has a rotating click bezel like a full size. Overall, for what it is and it's intended use (emergencies), I'm very pleased.

My first Esee folder that's going into my EDC rotation. Suprising that the coated blade is less expensive than the plain. While not my sharpest blade out of the box, it will shave the hair off your arm. Edge was perfectly ground. Not perfectly centered on closing, but not substantially far off center either. While I don't go crazy with my working knives, I feel I should lay it all out there. Decent size and weight. I can't say it was easy to open one handed, but I could tell after a little synthetic oil (silicone), it should break-in nicely. If you're looking for a quality EDC, an Esee in D2 for under 40 bucks, you will be very pleased with this knife.
