I own several Spanish made knives. Several Jokers, Cudemans, and Hydras. This was also not disappointing. Perfect hollow grind blade that was shaving sharp. I stropped it for 5 min and now it's truly scary. A very nice leather sheath made of a heavy saddle leather. Most of these Spanish knives are just smaller versions of their full size models blade is at least 4mm thick. I intend to put this in my EDC rotation. This probably will not be my last J&V, although I've noticed prices starting to creep up on all of them. I guess tariffs are getting into everything.
Pros:
- Well made, a lot of detail, good balance
Cons:
- Would have preferred a Scandi blade, but this is just fine
Best Used for:
- Every day carry. Hiking. Hunting.
