I wanted wrap around protection while shooting and my regular glasses didn't provide that so I ordered the ICE glasses and these inserts. When the insert arrived I put them on to find everything was distorted. There is an instruction sheet included and on the back are some instructions for the optics lab that is making your lenses. The insert has to match the curvature of the ICE lens after your prescription lenses are installed. A template is provided for the lab techs and when I check my insert it was way off, thus giving a distorted view. It seems the optical lab didn't check and just made these like a regular pair of glasses. They work just fine until I installed them into the ICE frame and they flexed to match the inside curve of the protective lens. Not only was my vision distorted, the insert frame would rub against the ICE lens and wear a spot into them. Wasted 100 bucks. Best if you could the insert frame and take them to your optometrist and make sure they see the note on matching the curvature.
Pros: Good option for those with glasses
Cons: Was not made according to ESS specs.
