I'd recommend this product for people with weak correction lenses.
Pros: No extra glassesor contact lenses needed
Cons: Feels quite strange because the lenses are really close to the eyes

The glass RX inserts are a little weighty plus I have an extremely small head, so thank God for the elastic strap or they'd fall off
Pros: Wrap around glass; interchangeable lens, accurate prescription

These are high quality lenses in a wire frame that fit perfectly in my ICE Naro system. The optical quality is excellent and the production time quick. The price is very competitive with any other provider. Highly recommended for anyone needing vision correction with these tactical/safety lenses.
Pros: Maximum Visibility; Light Weight
Cons: None

Stay away from the ESS RX inserts, mine certainly do not fit as pictured and were a complete waste of $100. There's about a 1cm gap between the RX lense and the ESS shield, the lenses for my metal frames do not look anything like the picture on this page and do not extend to the sides at all. They're cut more like aviator lenses turned upwards where the rx insert almost stands out above the shield.
Look for other RX options, these just aren't useable
Pros: ESS brand
Cons: The RX inserts just don't

I LIKE THESE GLASSES, BUT THEY TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USE TO. I HAD THEM FITTED TO A NEW PRESCRIPTION AND THAT ALONE NEEDS TIME. YOU ARE LOOKING THROUGH TWO LENS AS OPPOSED TO ONE. YOU HAVE A FULL SIDE VIEW, BUT THE RX LENSE DOES NOT WRAP AROUND. SIDE VIEWS ARE THROUGH THE PROTECTIVE LENS ONLY. THIS REQUIRES YOU TO TURN YOUR HEAD. A FEATURE THAT COULD HELP WOULD BE TO OFFER AN ACCESSORY TO SUPPORT THE INSERT ALONE, WHEN YOU DON'T NEED THE PROTECTIVE GLASSES. I HAVE OLDER EYES AND THIS IS WHAT THE DOCTOR CALLED FOR. THANKS, STEVE
Pros: EASY TO USE, ADJUST,CLEAN, UV COATED
Cons: YOU LOOK THROUGH 2 GLASSES

The prescription was correct, I had it checked. The left lens is turned at such an angle that is distorts my prescription and give me a killer headache. Will continue to adjust to see if I can get it to work, but there is very little room to adjust from the bridge piece.
Pros: Its nice to have full field of view prescription safety glasses.
Cons: Did not work for my prescription and face shape.

I was very disappointed in these inserts. Very difficult to insert onto Eyeshield with nose piece. Arrived unadjusted to fit the Eyeshield. The angle must be adjusted precisely for the prescription to work. Eyeshield is unwearable when inserted without adjustment.
Cons: Hard to insert, don't match angle of protective lens.

As an USAF Flight Surgeon I had gas mask inserts before and had worn many different goggle types, I bought the silver mounts for use with all the lenses, excellent for sports, cycling, shooting, running and driving. Will probably add goggles for skiing.
Pros: excellent field of vision, sturdy, ease of use
Cons: none

Took a few days of wearing on and off to adjust to the new lenses. Now I can go back and forth between safety glasses and regular glasses often with no problems.
Pros: Safety
Cons: Time to Adjust

The inserts are a bit too close to the eye but with careful tweaking of the stems and a cusion in the nosepiece, this can be overcome and made acceptable. What is not acceptable is the poor quality of the Rx glass used by Optics Planet. It is only clear when looking directly forward. Any side vision is blurred making this item functionally useless. I will stick with my shatter resistant Rx glasses and consider this a lesson learned.
Pros: EZ set up. Modular.
Cons: Lens clarity
