If only it worked - ESS P-2B™ Blank Rx Lens Insert, 740-0311

I have the wireframe insert with progressive lenses. The outer corner of the insert is pressed back by the curve of the outer lenses. I believe this along with the fact that you are looking through two layers of plastic lenses caused a significant degree of "distortion". Also the lencrafter techs (who made the lenses for the inserts) didn't seem to be able to tune or make final adjustments. Maybe they would work better with out the progressives or bifocal but I gotta have those. Also dust can coat all 4 surfaces (instead of the usual 2) and they are clumsy to disassemble, clean and re-assemble. I got a nice scrub on the outer lens shortly after I started wearing them I still use them but I feel it is because I have the investment and I have to. Wish I would have gone a different route.
Pros: Look cool, outer replacement lenses are inexpensive
Cons: distortion!
